Why Inner Map uses the Big Five
Four-letter types are easy to remember, but people are not just one thing or the other. The Big Five model, the most researched personality framework in psychology, measures traits on a continuum. Inner Map measures your five traits first, then shows the closest four-letter code as a shorthand.
Your full result also includes emotional sensitivity, the fifth trait, which describes how strongly stress and emotions land in your body. Read the methodology for every detail.
